Chiaiolella
The busiest beach on the island, on the west side below Santa Margherita hill, facing the islet of Vivara. Sun all day and often wind in the afternoon. Behind it there are beach clubs, bars, restaurants and pizzerias: the easiest place to spend a whole day.

Ciraccio
Ciraccio continues on from Chiaiolella and is the longest beach on Procida: dark sand and tuff sea stacks separating it from Chiaiolella. You get there along a small road, scooters included. There is a beach club with a bar and stretches of free beach; sun all day, and the mistral often blows in the afternoon.

Pozzo Vecchio cove
The small horseshoe bay on the western side is the «Postino beach», where Massimo Troisi shot scenes of the film. Dark sand, mostly free beach, with one beach club and a bar. No road reaches the sea: you leave your vehicle near the cemetery and walk down the stairs.

Chiaia
The most central beach and also the most secluded: you can only get there on foot or by sea, down 182 steps from Piazza Olmo or from via dei Bagni. Dark sand and shallow water, two small beach clubs and a restaurant, with a view of Corricella and Terra Murata. Tucked into its bay, it is the most sheltered beach on the island.

Lingua
At the far end of Marina Grande harbour, a small beach on the Procida channel facing Monte di Procida. You reach it from via Roma or down a flight of steps.

Beach tips
- Ciraccio and Chiaiolella get sun all day; wind is common in the afternoon.
- Chiaia, tucked into its bay, is the most sheltered beach.
- At Chiaia and Pozzo Vecchio you walk down: coming back the stairs are uphill, so allow time.
- Your vehicle stays at the top: RentEMZ e-bikes come with a lock.
- Vehicles and luggage go back to the port by 7pm.
