How to get to Chiaiolella and Ciraccio
On the other side of the island, the long sandy stretch of Ciraccio and Chiaiolella: about 15–20 minutes by e-bike, 10–15 by scooter, no stairs.

Step by step
Start at Via Roma 120
Leave your suitcase in storage and pick up your vehicle.
Cross the island
About 10–20 minutes to the west side: the route is orange on the map.
Pick your beach
Ciraccio is the longest beach on the island, with dark sand; tuff sea stacks separate it from Chiaiolella, which also has a little harbour with bars and restaurants.
At sunset
The bridge to Vivara is a few steps away. Remember that vehicle and suitcase go back to the port by 7pm.
Good to know
- The west side is often windy in the afternoon.
- It is the right stop for an afternoon swim on a tour of the island.
- Vehicles and luggage go back to the port by 7pm: allow about 20 minutes by e-bike from here.

RentEMZ is at Via Roma 120, a short walk from the Marina Grande landing. Step off the ferry, leave your bags and set off by e-bike or electric scooter: pick them up by 7pm and you are already at the pier.
